The New Great Game

I was commissioned to compose the soundtrack of the latest large-scale CBC documentary The New Great Game, written & directed by Alexandre Trudeau & Jonathan Pedneault.

The film studies the geopolitical issues between the West and the East, the importance of oil, sea-lanes and control of the Middle East.

Since the documentary takes place in Somalia, Libya, China, Egypt, Israel and many other countries, I was given the chance to musically explore blending ethnic and western instruments.
