For a long time, I’ve had a tendency to avoid using the word “love”. I have an aversion to everything that becomes over-commercialized, overused, and stripped of its original value and meaning as a result. However, fatherhood and recent events have reshaped my understanding of the word, and it has taken on a new meaning for me. I’ve realised how pure, unconditional and ever-expanding love can be. I usually prefer to let the meaning of songs unfold in the listener’s imagination, to stay up to interpretation, but in this case, love was too omnipresent in my life during the composition phase to exclude its essence from the title.
